Designed by OJI Masanori, this is a series of beautifully crafted wooden serving place mats with cove-edged rims made from locally sourced wood (KEYAKI or zelkova) in Japan. Their minimalist design highlights the natural wood grain, making each piece unique. Perfect for serving sushi, appetizers, or desserts directly on it (thanks to the liquid-glass coating) or in plates/dishes, they bring a touch of elegance to any meal.
With its clean lines and warm natural tones, this plate blends traditional craftsmanship with modern style. It is ideal for both casual and refined dining settings.
Caring instructions:
- The raw materials used for AIZAWA (KITO) products are thoroughly dried before manufacturing. They should not warp hard or crack during regular use unless exposed to extreme temperature/humidity differences abruptly.
- They are coated with liquid glass and are also suitable for serving foods. Dishwashing detergent and a sponge can be used to wash the products. A dump cloth may also be used to wipe off minor stains.
- Do not use a dishwasher.
Except for certain products, all orders for AIZAWA Wood Works will be shipped together once all items are available. The current production lead time is approximately 1 to 1.5 months, but please note that there is a possibility that it may take longer due to the situation.
