FUROSHIKI are square-shaped cloths used in Japan to wrap items and carry them. Being made of fabric, FUROSHIKI can be stored easily and are very light. They can be used to wrap several small goods, such as fruits, together or wrap one bulky item, like a wine bottle or a large sake bottle. It is also a great idea to use them as tablecloths. They will enhance the aesthetics of your table settings and the overall decor of the room.
FUROSHIKI BY KAMAWANU are made of thin material, 100% cotton, yet they are durable and easy to tie knots with. In addition to these advantages, they can be washed just like other clothes when they get dirty. Japanese re-acknowledged that FUROSHIKI is also environmentally friendly, making them even more popular.
As seen in the above slides, the edges are hemmed, unlike the TENUGUI, which is traditionally unfinished. The size is 105 x 105 cm (approx. 41 x 41 in.).
